Children's Privacy (COPPA)
COPPA notice and how we handle (and intentionally don't collect) information about children.
Last updated: April 2026.
This site is designed not to collect personal information from children under 13. We ask adults (prospective parents, alumni, colleagues) to submit inquiries on behalf of their own children and to omit any information identifying a specific child.
Why the site is designed this way
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) regulates how websites collect information from children under 13. The simplest and strongest posture is not to collect that information in the first place. We designed the forms on this site around that principle.
What is intentionally not collected
- The name, age, or grade of any specific child
- Photos, videos, or biometric information of minors
- Health or IEP/504 information about minors
- Student login credentials
If a real student inquiry is needed
A school using this platform uses a dedicated third-party admissions/application vendor (such as Ravenna, Finalsite Admissions, or Blackbaud Enrollment) that obtains verifiable parental consent before collecting student information. Those flows are never executed on this website.
If you accidentally submitted child information
Email privacy@bpdschool.demo and we'll delete it promptly and confirm.
Parental rights
Parents have the right under COPPA to review, delete, and refuse further collection of personal information from their child. Contact privacy@bpdschool.demo.
