Title IX

Nondiscrimination on the basis of sex, and how a real school using this platform would publish its Title IX policy.

Last updated: April 2026.

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. On a real school site using this platform, the school publishes its own Title IX policy, Coordinator contact information, complaint procedure, and supportive-measures information at this location.

What a real school site includes

  • Name, office, email, and phone of the Title IX Coordinator
  • Statement of the school's nondiscrimination policy
  • How to file a complaint (informal and formal)
  • Supportive measures available during a complaint
  • Grievance procedures and timelines
  • Training materials for staff (published as required)
  • Links to federal resources (U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights)

Template example (real schools adapt): "BPD Academy prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, including sexual harassment, in any education program or activity. Our Title IX Coordinator is [Name], (610) 555-1205, titleix@bpdschool.demo. You may file a complaint with the Coordinator or with the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights."

BPD's role

Bright Presence Digital provides the platform and page template. The school publishes the actual Title IX content, trains its personnel, and conducts its own investigations. This is not a function BPD operates or advises on.
